With the recent rises in cases locally, we know there may be some concern around attending indoor events. Whereas we still all face the same day to day challenges in terms of balancing work and our children’s wellbeing over the holiday period, we know the landscape is changing and will raise some concerns.

At Artreach Studios we want you to be confident in sending your child to our fun filled events so here are a few changes we are making to ensure peace of mind and to help protect everyone.

* Please do not send your child in if they are unwell in any way.

* Children may be temperature checked on arrival if we have any concerns
Anyone with a high temperature (37.8 and above) will not be admitted that day

* Children displaying any Covid 19 symptoms will be sent home
  See https://covid19.gov.im/about-coronavirus/symptoms/

* All parents/carers will be asked to sign to confirm:
  1.  Your child has not been displaying any Covid symptoms and is not ill
  2.  No one in your household has been diagnosed with covid in the last 14 days
(or is still positive for covid 19)
  3.  No one in your household is under an isolation directive from the government

We’re grateful to have moved to a new unit which is light and airy. We’re confident the high ceilings and ability to spread out will be an advantage in the current climate and we are also capping the numbers attending, lower than usual.

We also have a big roller door which we will open as much as possible (in summer months)  to aid the flow of natural air through our space.  We have a new table layout with less children per table. This is not the same as social distancing but will reduce risk.

Mask wearing
At present, our policy is that mask wearing is optional so if you feel more confident sending your children in with masks, please do. Some of our team may also be wearing a mask and we wholly support anyone who feels this is in their best interests.  We will also have spare masks on hand for anyone wishing to wear one.

Hand Sanitising & Hand washing
Children will be very used to hand washing routines having adopted them in school.
On arrival, children will be asked to use our hand sanitiser. They will also be asked to follow hand washing/sanitising procedures at points during the day including break times plus after convenience breaks etc.

All our measures have been taken with you, your child and your family in mind. We want the experience to be fun and not marred or interrupted by the practicalities of living with covid. We hope our measures put your mind at rest but please feel free to get in touch if you have any specific questions or concerns.

If you are affected by these changes, please get in touch asap.
