The New Year has begun!

Updated: May 6, 2022

January is almost over and it is time to shake off the January blues and start planning for a brilliant 2022!!!

We are so happy that so many of you have found your way into our studio, it truly is an honour to guide you along your art journey. We hope that you have enjoyed the quality and difference in our offerings.

Did you know (incase you needed a reminder) that ART is a vehicle for meditation and self-connection!

One of the reasons it is so powerful is that it fosters acceptance. Creating art is a type of meditation, an active training of the mind that increases awareness that helps acceptance of feelings and thoughts without judgment. This contributes to a relaxed of body and mind. That is why we always emphasise process over outcome, although we are here as your expert guides (with years of training and experience) to assist you in having the best possible experience and technical support!

We are so excited to share a new season of workshops! January has been full of putting plans into action and we're thrilled to introduce the expertise of x3 new guest instructors! Charlotte Muirhead (Blackberry Bunny) has been helping us with our new homeschool art tribe and is busy behind the scenes creating some wonderful workshops for you - to be announced very soon!!

Ciara Hardisty of, a former marketing exec turned entrepreneur has developed some amazing opportunities and invites you to up your social media game with some easy to follow steps to streamline your online presence. She begins with 'INSTAfluencer!' Go from Instameh to Instayeah on the 20th February, in this super accessible taster workshop, jam packed with easy to follow ideas to shake up and help you shape up! There will be more!!

We are so excited to be joined by Kathryn Scarlett. Former tutor at UCM Isle of Man, Kathryn has a wealth of knowledge that she is bursting to share with you and joins us on a six seek course 'Pen to Paper', a wonderful beginning and improvers class in drawing, in which you will literally learn to see!! This will improve any existing skills. She has more drawing and 3D workshops on the horizon. So keep your eyes peeled for more.

Great news for all drawing enthusiasts, we are delighted to announce we have joined up with the lovely Kim Gee of Isle of Man Drawing Club to host Life Drawing pop up sessions in our Warehouse styled Art Studio in the heart of Peel! Tickets GO LIVE 15th February so keep your eyes peeled!

We (Colette and Kate) will still be delivery many quality courses, tasters and mini art experiences throughout the year. We have some beautiful offerings - many new and some our old favourite art + craft workshops including; ceramics, painting, printmaking, and mixed media. Saturday afternoons have now been opened up to Adult classes and we have already developed some exciting opportunities for you to paint, make + create with us at the weekend - Take a LOOK! Our unique brand of workshops are rooted in technique, of which we teach in depth. Many who already know us, have enjoyed our creative environment that is welcoming for students, friendly, non-judgemental and encouraging. With a holistic and mindful approach that is close to her own practice, the workshops are as much about discovering the joy of creating alongside many tried and tested techniques, than following specific guidelines with expected outcomes.

All our tutors are highly qualified and come from years of eduction and experience in the arts (Ciara also offers years of experience in the marketing industry), so you can place your trust in the process and be guided as beginners and improvers (or artists who want to try a new technique!!!). We all have the power to be creative, and just in case you had any doubts or are worried about your confidence in any art and craft form - be sure that you will be provided with expert help at every step.

+++ There is much much more on the horizon!
